March SNS DT Projects

Wow, I am done my March SNS DT projects early, so I think I will go ahead and post them now! I had the delicious SNS His & Hers kit to work with.

I haven't done a 2 page layout in a while, but here it is. DH and DD having a tea party in the park LOL! I used the MME Penny Lane Tiny Dancer Ballet line paper and die cuts for it.

4 cards I made out of the Bo Bunny Alissa collection. I just love this line! You get so many sheets of paper and the colours are the sweetest! A yummy ice cream layout from our many visits to DQ last summer. I thought the little porcupine dreaming of popsicles was perfect :)And my favourite of all! I saw this cute little bird cage votive candle holder and I had to buy it! I embellished it with the ribbon from the kit and some flowers. I put some grassy stuff in the candle holder for a nest. Then I covered a Maya Road branch in Ranger crackle paint and decorated a Maya Road bird with paper, Kaiser pearls and ric rac from the kit for a tail.

What a super fun kit this was to work with. I just love the pretty colours and I still have lots left to enjoy!

Card Kits

I was in a couple of one on one card kit swaps lately.

These 2 cards were from a flower themed kit swap on Art Freckles.

Art Freckles March Kit

It's the 10th today, so that means the new Art Freckles kit is up!! Isn't it delicious?? Loads of paper, flowers, buttons, a CD tin to alter and gold Thickers! Yum!! You can get it right here. I have done 5 layouts with the kit so far, which I will post shortly...

March Art Freckles Sneak Peek

Okay this is a teeny tiny sneak peek, but it's pretty darn cute! It will be up for sale on the 10th, so don't forget to check it out!

I have done 2 layouts and a card with the kit so far, hoping to get more done this weekend. For those who love paper (and who doesn't?) this is one fantastic kit!! And brank spanking new lines too!

SavvynSassy February Ribbon Kit Creations

The SavvynSassy February kit I got to design with was the Zany Zinnia February - Notorious Kit. I just loved the red and black combo, so I did 3 layouts with it! All the different textures are so rich and beautiful, great for so many things!
Still working on using up some old stash, I made these 2 cards with old Pebbles Inc. lines.
Then I used 2 rectangles of scalloped Bazzill to make these 2 square cards.

Monday Catchup

February Art Freckles Ticket to Whoo-Ville Kit Creations

What fun I had this month working with the Art Freckles "Ticket to Whoo-Ville" kit!

You're a Hoot Brielle Mini Owl Album

I used the Maya Road owl coaster album that came with the kit, covered it in papers from the kit and added stamps, Thickers, Prima studs, Chatterbox felt and Chatterbox chipboard from the store. I also tied ribbon from the SavvynSassy January Cocoa Cream ribbon kit around the binder ring.

To make the owl I took the chipboard cover from the owl mini album, inked it up, glued on pieces of the sequin trim for feathers, layered painted circles for eyes, coloured in the rest with markers and added a flower and brad to the hole at the top.

O Train

I just loved all the tickets that came with the kit, so I used a bunch for this train layout.
