Art Freckles April Creations

Well April is almost over, so I better post my April Art Freckles 'Poppy Talk' kit creations! I started working with the May Art Freckles kit this weekend...yummy!!

I just loved the contrasting colours in the April kit. And those Pink Paislee chipboard letters are my new fave!! Thickers...look out!

What a beautiful kit to work with! I had so much fun with it. There are still kits available as well as extra sheets of the Pink Paislee papers and Prima lace jellie trim in the store.

My Sketch World Spring Crop

The My Sketch World forum is having it's spring crop starting this Saturday and running til the 25th! The last one was loads of fun, so come and join us on Saturday!!

Easter Bag/Basket Make 'n Take

Happy Easter everyone!! Here is the Easter basket make 'n take I did up for the Art Freckles online crop. Thanks to Martha Stewart for the inspiration!

Supplies:

-coloured paper bag (no handles)

-1 inch or wider ribbon to match bag

-large eyelets

-matching paper, letters, stickers, flowers etc. to decorate bag

-decorative edge scissors or border punch

First take your paper bag and fold about 1" over from the top 3 times. I found it a little tricky to do the first fold, so I tore a little bit on each side and once the first fold is done it's a lot easier to do the rest.Use decorative edge scissors or border punches to make a decorative edged paper strip to go around the edge of your bag.Decorate the front of your basket as desired.
Punch a hole in the side of your bag (middle of decorative edge) for your eyelet. Repeat on other side.Set your eyelets in the 2 holes.Put your ribbon through the first eyelet and tie it off, repeat for the second eyelet and tie off. Cut the ribbon ends off.And here is your finished basket! You can fill it with candy or eggs for Easter! Enjoy!!

Well here it is...the April Art Freckles 'Poppy Talk' kit! Featuring the Pink Paislee Fascinating line. I just love the colours and the chipboard alphas are amazing!! Look out Thickers LOL! March Art Freckles Kit Projects

Here are the projects I did with the March Art Freckles 'Nest of Treasures' kit. It features the new My Mind's Eye Penny Lane line, yum! I just loved all the Spring colours and edged cardstock. I got so many projects out of the kit!
