Catching Up

Well, I have been busy....lots of scrapping lately. Last week I received my prize from Fiskars from the Fiskateers online crop. It was the Heidi Grace Winter kit, which I totally love!! I only had 2 sheets of the paper before, so I can't wait to start creating with it.

I made this wooden heart with wooden "Love" for a contest challenge on Scraptivity! The challenge was to make a 3D project showcasing flowers and brads.

I made this round card for a challenge on LilScrappers

I also did 2 sketch challenges on iScrap

Organizing

Well, I went to Ikea on the weekend and got a bunch of things to organize my scrapbooking area. I put all my buttons in little glass jars, got a cute shelf for on top of my desk to keep stamps and ink etc. handy, as well as some hanging baskets for the shelves behind me. Yesterday I went to Walmart and got some organizers for my chipboard letters. I love how it turned out! They were in the tools section for screws etc. My larger letter sets won't fit and the dividers aren't removable, but still not bad for $6 each! Saves a lot of space this way.

Feeling Lucky!!

It was a busy weekend with 2 online crops. One at iScrap and one at Fiskateers. I got a few LO's done, which I will show in just a minute. I was lucky enough to win a crop rak from Fiskateers! It will be a surprise though...and I am sure I will love it!!

On Scraptivity! in December I won a prize for the November kit contest. It was a huge Pine Cone Press library pocket calendar kit and Junkitz 8x8 calendar kit with lots of papers etc. I will be all set for creating my calendar's for next year. In December on Scraptivity! also I won a set of the new Basic Grey Santa Baby acrylic stamps. I am just feeling so lucky these days!!

And this weekend there is another online crop coming up at Creative Crafts and Stickers. I will also be busy this week with the start of the 2 contests at Scraptivity! Can't wait to get cracking on them!

The Power of 5!!

I am participating in iScrap's online crop this weekend and this is one of the great challenges on there!

1. 5 things I can't scrap without: patterned paper, black pen, glue dots, ink and rubons

2. 5 places I have traveled to most recently: Kemptville to visit my brother, Orleans to visit my brother-in-law and family, beyond that...Starr Gymnastics, Walmart and Costco LOL!

3. 5 things I watch on TV: I could probably name 50, but I'll narrow it down to my favourites...ER, Grey's Anatomy, Survivor, Big Brother and Seinfeld

4. 5 foods I can't stand: cabbage, seafood of any kind, stinky cheese (Limburger etc.), meat cooked rare and crepes (it's a long story)

5. 5 reasons to visit iScrap!: the awesome online crop going on now, the gallery full of inspiration, the great contests, friendly scrappers and fun, fun, fun!!

New TLC Products

At the end of July TLC launched more new products. I had so much fun playing with the new Hot Fudge kits and making a Family Chatter Bookz mini album.
