Art Freckles Fall Blog Hop

It is a fun filled Fall Blog Hop today with Art Freckles!! It is a busy 2 year anniversary celebration month at Art Freckles and the forum is full of contests/challenges and fun. Check it out HERE.

Here is my Fall project using the Art Freckles October Monster's Ball kit that you can find HERE. I used a Doodlebug house and the Monster's Ball kit to make this Halloween house. It took a while, but I love how it turned out!!

Love that hanging spider bell from the kit!
I used the Fiskar's threading water punch to do all the layers on my roof and the trim.
I cut out some monsters from the paper to peek out the windows.

Your next stop on the blog hop will be Joanne's blog right HERE.

There are 8 blogs on the blog hop, including mine and the Art Freckles blog. Don't miss any of the fabulous Fall Art Freckles creations! Here are links to the rest of the blogs in the Blog Hop in case you get lost (in order):

Sketch Layout

This month's sketch challenge over at Art Freckles is a sketch from Sketchabilities:

Here is the layout I created. I got some new My Little Shoebox paper a while ago which I thought would be perfect for the Crash Up Derby!

If you love this sketch too, you can participate in my challenge on Art Freckles and get your name in on the draw for a scrappy RAK from me! Details are HERE.

Monochromatic Challenge

Well it is reveal day for the Art Freckles Challeng our Designers Contest!! Krystle won the contest and here was her challenge:

"My challenge to you is to create a monochromatic layout with a twist! The twist is that you must use the letters of the color of your choice to create a recipe for yourself. (Example #1 if I choose to create a WHITE monochromatic layout, then I must use Watercolor paints, Hidden journaling, Ink, a Title, and Eyelets. Example #2 if I choose to create a YELLOW monochromatic layout, then I must use Yarn, Embellishments, Lined paper, a List, Ovals, and Webster's Pages product)."

Here is my monochromatic layout. I used BROWN: B-Basic Grey, R-Ranger ink, O-October Afternoon, W-Websters Pages, N-notes and numbers.

You can check out the creations from the rest of the Design Team, as well as Shannon and Renee right HERE.

Fall Creating

Well fall is definitely here, we went walking in the Gatineau Hills last weekend and the leaves were gorgeous! Now I have to get the pics printed!

Here are some fall (and summer) things I did for Tina's Scrapbooking Creations lately.

So Blessed Card
Using the Imaginisce Apple Cider line. Love this line!
Mini Golf Layout
This School Spirit line by Crate Paper was perfect for the background on this mini golf layout. The rest of the paper is more of the Imaginisce Apple Cider line, and some sticker from the Bella Blvd. One Fall Day line.
Diving In & Making a Splash Layout
This one is using the Jillibean Soup Summer Squash line. Aren't those fishies cute!? The stickers are from the same line.
That's it for now. Still have to crack into the Imaginisce Cottage Christmas line. Yum!!

Happy Belated World Cardmaking Day!

Well I am kind of late with this...Saturday was World Cardmaking Day! Hope you all had time to get in a little cardmaking! I was away at a crop Friday night and all day Saturday, then we had a bunch of family stuff to do yesterday. Now I will try to get caught up with my blog again! I did 6 layouts and one card at the crop.

Here is my card. It was the Art Freckles September card sketch challenge, which was a sketch from Cardmaps. You can check out the sketch HERE.
