Advent Calendar

Here is a Kaisercraft advent calendar I covered with Imaginisce Christmas Cheer line papers and die cuts. It's bigger than it looks in the pics. The numbers are on little hooks and there are enough so that it can be changed each day as the countdown begins!!

Christmas Gifts

I made a few Christmas gifts this year. My Mom knits gifts for people all the time, usually baby blankets...so I used a set of Stampin' Up knitting stamps to make a bunch of cards for her to give with her gifts. Here are a couple of the cards:

And I made this banner for my niece. It looks small in the photo, but it goes across the top of the door to her room. I love how it turned out!

Art Freckles January Kit Creations

Another month means another fabulous Art Freckles kit! This month's kit is called "First Kiss" and it's full beautiful Pink Paislee papers as well as Girls Paperie embellishments, ribbon, a butterfly and more! You can pick it up HERE.

I made 2 cards using the January sketch challenge from Art Freckles found HERE. The sketch is by Pagemaps.

I altered an old Making Memories package to make a cute gift box for tags and notecards.

I love when background papers don't need a lot added to them and there are lots of those kinds of papers in this kit!

The Paper Girl Sticker Market stickers come with so many different ones you'll be using them for a long time! There are the big alphas I used for "Miga", the more delicate pink alphas I used for "wear", the little tiny word stickers I used for my journalling, as well as some border stickers! And there are 2 sheets of the word stickers!!

I still have lots of the kit left, so I will probably do some more creating with it as the month goes by!
You can check out the other design team creations HERE. There will be more added as the month goes by also...
The Art Freckles January card kit is equally yummy. There are not very many left, you can find it HERE. Hopefully I will start making some cards with mine soon!

Holiday Hostess Gifts Blog Hop

Art Freckles is having a "Holiday Hostess Gifts blog hop" today! You should have arrived her directly from the Art Freckles blog HERE. You'll be able to hop from my blog to the other Design Team blogs for some great holiday hostess gift ideas. 'Tis the season for holiday parties!!

My hostess gift idea is a stamped tile coaster.

First gather your supplies: Stazon ink, stamps, 4x4 tiles (from a home improvement store, they are very cheap), felt circles for under furniture (small) and some markers. I used Copics.

Clean your tile with a damp cloth and dry. Stamp your image on the tile with Stazon. It is a little tricky to get a great impression without slipping, as the tiles are very smooth.

Here are my 2 tiles:

Allow ink to dry for a few hours or overnight. Then carefully colour in your images with markers. I found with the Copics even though the ink was dry it still blended with the markers. I used Stazon to ink around the edges of the tile as well.

Once you are done colouring, bake your tile in the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 minutes to heat set.

When your tiles have cooled add some felt circles under the bottom side of the tile and you are done!

Here are my 2 finished tile coasters:

Your next stop on the blog hop is Stephanie's blog right HERE. In case you get lost...after Stephanie it will be Shannon's BLOG, then Jamie's BLOG.

Spring Banner

Here is a cute little banner I made for Tina's Scrapbooking Creations. The butterflies and alphas are Tattered Angels framed nature fonts. They are super cute, all embossed and you can use the positive and negative parts so you have twice as many letters. I sprayed them with Glimmer Mist ~ coffee shop. The papers are Jillibean Soup Egg Drop Soup line.
