Lookie what I got!! Jessica Acs brand new Outstanding Mini Albums book!! I won it from Tara Thynner's blog and just got it in the mail. I love it!! So many great ideas and step by step how to's. I just love mini albums, so this book is perfect! So much inspiration, Jessica you rock!!

Tina's Scrapbooking Creations is having another crop in Winchester Saturday May 23rd from 9-4. I cannot wait! I had so much fun last time and I'll be renting a table to sell off some of my stash again. I am debating on whether or not to rent a table for DD to scrap at too.

Catching Up

Wow, I have not had time to blog for a week! There were 2 online crops going on this weekend and I managed to get a few things done. One at My Sketch World Forum and one at Lil Scrappers. I wish I had more time to scrap on the weekend, but we were busy with birthday parties and life LOL! Here are my creations:

January SavvynSassy Ribbon Creations

For January I had this beautiful Savvy N Sassy Cocoa Cream ribbon kit to work with. Browns are my favourite to scrap with, so this was perfect!

I have been working on using up some of my older stash. I used this Junkitz line for this layout and 4 cards. The ribbon coordinates so well with the colours.

Using Up my Stash

So I have been working on using up some of my stash lately. I like to buy complete lines of product...paper, rubons, stickers, brads, you name it. Then I end up doing a couple of pages and putting the rest away for a long time before I go back to it. So I am trying to use up some of the older lines I have kicking around. Last week I used up 2 TLC lines and a CTMH line. Here are some of the things I made:

January Art Freckles Creations

Here are my January Art Freckles kit creations. I got a lot out of this kit and I still have a lot left! To get more out of it I cut up the Prima crystals and used bits of them on different projects and separated the Prima lolipops into 4 flowers.

I did a lot of cutwork for this one, twisted and stapled the ribbon at the bottom of the page.

I added some brads, buttons and Glossy Accents to the page.

To make the heart I took 2 J's and cut them, put them together (one wrong side up) and covered them in Stickles.

The kit is great for Valentine's, but cute also for any sweet layouts. I just loved using it! Unfortunately it's all sold out, but next month's kit will be available in just a few days!!

Yummy RAK for Me!

I almost forgot to post this...I won an awesome RAK on Tara's blog! Tara has challenges all month long on her blog and a big prize draw from them at the end of each month. I actually managed to get a few challenges done for January. She posts all the submitted challenge projects as a slide show on her blog which I think is so great! She should be starting February challenges soon, you can check Tara's blog out here.
