Christmas Goodies

Well I have been busy making some Christmas items this week.

I made these yummy bags of hershey's chocolates. The how-to is from Carla at Lil Scrappers, you can find it right here. They are quick to do and will make great gifts!

I altered a bunch of old plastic packages and added chocolates for some sweet treats. Thanks to Ally Scraps for the idea!

And I filled a plain glass ball Christmas decoration with curled up strips of patterned Christmas paper and added a ribbon to hang it on the tree. Thanks Karla!!

Tonight I am working on putting rubons on more glass ball decorations and they are looking pretty cute, if I do say so myself! I'll be sharing pics tomorrow.

Art Freckles October Project Kit

I got this beautiful project kit from Art Freckles last month, and finally got down to doing it the other night. I just love it!! There are still some kits available here, and they come complete with instructions and example pics.

SavvynSassy November Art Freckles Ribbon Kit

Art Freckles November Kit Creations

Well despite being in a lot of pain since last Thursday I have been creating like mad with the November Art Freckles kit!! So far I have done 3 layouts, the mini album that came with the kit, an altered wooden calendar and a card. I have 3 more cards in the works, then maybe a clipboard... There is so much paper with the kit that I will get a tonne of projects out of it!

I love the inked up distressed patterns of most of the papers, saved me having to do as much inking as I usually do LOL! For this layout I added a few metal embellishments from my stash. I punched out circles for the names, then sewed around the edges, added arrows and the Rose Moka letters and raised them up with pop dots.

I love the masculine feel of the papers in the kit! I do a lot more scrapping of my daughter's pics than my son's with all the girly patterned papers out there, so these were great for getting some of my son's layouts done!

This paper was perfect for Fall! I added some Fall embellishments from my stash, used the Bazzill stitching template to do X stitches around the 2 pics and voila!

I used the mini album in the kit to make a Christmas gift for my brother. I cut different patterned pages for each page of the book, slightly smaller than the chipboard pages, inked them and the book edges, added pics and a few letters, rubons and stickers from my stash and it was a very quick book!

November Art Freckles Kit is Up!

And here it is:

I am getting my hot little hands on it some time today and I just can't wait to dig in and design with it! Everything on my desk is going to get shoved to the side LOL! (And believe me there is a lot on my desk right now.)

The kit features a brand new line from Rose Moka: Equinoxe. They are a fairly new Canadian scrapbooking company and I just can't wait to see their papers and letter stickers IRL! There is a stitching template with floss and lots of chipboard, so this should be a lot of fun!! You can check the kit out here. There are new goodies in the store too, so go take a peek!

I'm am now an Etsy seller! I was busy this weekend making up a few page kits, baskets of ribbon, flowers etc. to list on there. Now I have to take pics of my cards and altered items and get them on there too. Here is my store:

Unfortunately I didn't have as much scrapping time this weekend. I did manage a couple layouts and a card. I am working on a mini album gift, so hopefully I'll get that done tonight or tomorrow. Christmas is coming and I have lots of gifts to make!!

Art Freckles has some new goodies up in the store. I could not resist buying some of the felt/suede doggies for DD and I, and those October Afternoon stamps are just too cute!!

I just got a box of yummy WRMK and Sassafras Lass goodies from SavvynSassy this morning, which I just can't wait to play with!!

Tuesday Ramblings

I got good news yesterday, I won a prize from WeScrap's online crap last weekend! Can't wait to see what goodies I get!!

Monday News

Wow, what a weekend! Between Halloween, the kids going to a Halloween party at their cousins, all the grand opening day challenges at Art Freckles and an online crop at Lil Scrappers it was busy, busy, busy!!
